More About Us
Loving God, Serving people is not just a slogan for Charity Baptist Church; it’s the way we desire to be in our daily lives. We love God because He first loved us and showed this love to us by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. Once we by faith have received Jesus Christ as our personal Savior and Lord, we become a child of God and begin the process of becoming a true disciple of Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Mark 10:45- “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and give his life a ransom for many” (NASB). We are never more like Jesus Christ than when we serve others out of love for God because of what He has done for us. We would love for you to come and worship with us!
Guiding Principles
“not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.”
“but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen”.
“Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver”.
“and Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Loving God. Serving People.
We are a Southern Baptist Church that seeks to glorify God by proclaiming and displaying the gospel of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We exist to help others find and follow Jesus Christ. The way we do this is by obeying the Great Commandment (Mark 12:30- 31) therefore fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20).
Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we gather in worship to proclaim Christ to everyone, seeking to disciple God’s people according to God’s Word, while loving and serving others like Jesus did, with the final goal of presenting everyone complete in Christ. (Colossians 1:28)
